Diving System Tmax including 2 Piston Tanks type XP 825-12V
Total nominal volume 2x 825ml = 1650 ml
The Tmax diving system offers a maximum of features and includes two Piston Tanks type XP for proportional control, pressure switch and all necessary components, such as leads, hoses and connectors.
The Tmax control unit version 2 (V2) is equipped with a regulated power supply for the processor, by which susceptibility to radio interference is minimized.
The Tmax system allows fine trimming as well as bow or aft heavy trim of the model.
The Piston Tanks type XP are equipped with potentiometers in addition to the micro switches of the AutoStop mechanism. The Tmax System can be operated via one, two or three R/C channels. However, for implementing all functions of the system three R/C channels are necessary. This setup will require an analogue switch (3 positions: on/off/on) and two proportional slider switches.
The Tmax features 3 fail safe devices:
1. automatic resurfacing if max. depth is reachend (via pressure switch included)
2. loss of signal (adjustable to 4 or 7 sec.)
3. low battery monitor
The maximum operational depth is limited to about 1.8 meters by the pressure switch included. The pressure switch is an integral part of the system and should not be sacrificed. Furthermore, the Tmax offers additional fail-safe features such as battery monitor and loss of Tx-signal.
With the voltage dropping below the preset minimum current, the piston tanks will start to press water out of the cylinders. If this is the case, the bow-sided tank will start to press out ballast water first. After a pause of about 15 sec. the stern tank will start to blow. This sequence minimises the strain on the already weakened battery pack.
The different modes of the system are indicated by LEDs.
The operational circuit is equipped with a fuse protection (10A, slow blow). A spare fuse is included in this kit.
These features make Tmax to be the most developed and reliable system ever offered.
System voltage preadjusted to approx. 9V for 12V operation (adjustable from 3 to 24 Volt).
