Ferrite R/C Suppression
High density FERRITE is the most efficient material for suppression of unwanted R/C singnals. Used in computer technology, ferrite is a very efficient material in model hobby also.
There are two alternatives:
Ferrite rings are mainly used for a string of cables. Here cables are drawn at least twice (or more often) through a ring formed ferrite.
Clamp ferrites offer a more convenient way as the wire lead is drawn through a cylinder shaped ferrite, clamped-down by a plastic housing. In general, clamp ferrites require more space due to their plastic housing.
